Nash, 43, is the associate deputy attorney general and director of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force Program at the U.S. Department of Justice. He served as an assistant U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia from 1997 to 2004 and spent three years at Williams & Connolly LLP. He is a graduate of Duke University and Harvard Law School and clerked for Judge Sam J. Ervin, chief judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and Judge T. S. Ellis of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
